ISO 14001 - Environmental Management
A universally recognised environmental standard of management commitment to an environmental policy.

OHSAS 18001 - Health and Safety
The certification standard against which the effectiveness of the organisation's occupational health and safety management system can be measured.

FSC and PEFC - Chain of Custody Certificates
A certified Chain of Custody (CoC) tracks certified material through the production process - from the forest to the consumer, including all successive stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. UPM Tilhill holds both FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody Certificates. You can download a copy of these certficates at the foot of this page.

UKWAS Forest Managment Certificate
The UK Woodland Assurance Standard is an independent certification standard for verifying sustainable woodland management in the United Kingdom and is recognised by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Programmes (PEFC). Our UKWAS Group Scheme represents approximately 40% of the privately owned certified woodland forests in the UK. You can download a copy of this certificate at the foot of this page. 

Achilles
UPM Tilhill is an approved supplier within the Achilles UVDB Verify supplier database. The company has met the required standards in Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management through a programme of written submissions and on-site audits.
